Police chaplaincy - a chance to do something different
A new opportunity has arisen for people, ordained or lay, to join the team of those appointed as voluntary police chaplains. This requires a commitment to regular workplace visiting to offer listening and pastoral support to all employees of Cambridgeshire Constabulary, whether they have faith or not. Rev Nick Devenish has begun to work in Hampton and we are keen to find volunteers to cover other stations in the Northern Division. If you would like to know more, then please contact Rev Dorothy Peyton Jones. tel 07503746520

Network Peterborough request information
www.networkpeterborough.org.uk is a new website aimed specifically at Christians living in Peterborough. The intention of the website is to provide an online place to enable Christians to exchange stories and information about what is happening in our city. The Network Peterborough group consists of a small number of Christians from a variety of backgrounds, with the desire to serve God in our city.
Michelle Webb writes on behalf of Network Peterborough: We have held two very successful celebration evenings at a local curry house. About 60+ local Christians attended and shared with us all, stories concerning projects they are involved with around the city, including Street Invasion and Street Pastors. At the last evening in October, a list was compiled listing issues that it was felt important to look at/are already are being addressed around Peterborough. Please click here for further details.
Request for information from churches Some of the feedback we have had on this website, is that people feel and would like it to be a useful information resource for the Christian community. We would very much like to have the blessing of more of the local churches. We would like permission to include your church contact details on the website. This would include a short synopsis about your church, contact details, details of services and regular activities, and if possible a photo or two!
Please email this information, and any queries,to Michelle Webb michelle@networkpeterborough.org.uk
Thank you
Michelle Webb on behalf of the Network Peterborough team. www.networkpeterborough.org.uk
